Like the Ashigumo, these creatures have called Hinoe their home for generations.  While they may appear harmless at first glance, they are actually respectable water gods.

Once the kappa have joined your cause, they will agree to work the fields beyond the mountain pass.  As Sakuna's journey continues, new plots of land can be discovered where the kappa will follow the princess' example, allowing her to reap the fruits of their labor without any extra work!
